Job Description

As a member of our global technology change and delivery organization, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing data solutions on Azure. Your role will involve developing and maintaining data pipelines using Databricks, ensuring efficient data storage and retrieval with Azure Storage and Data Lake, and automating infrastructure and application deployments using Ansible. You will write clean, maintainable code in C# core and SQL, optimizing the code/application for best performance by utilizing state-of-the-art technologies, tools, and engineering practices. Collaborating with team members using Git and GitLab for version control and CI/CD will be a key aspect of your responsibilities. In addition to your technical tasks, you will share your knowledge and contribute to the growth of less senior team members, fostering team spirit and actively participating in wider engineering group- and product-wide activities. The ideal candidate for this position should possess over 10 years of software development experience and hold a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Proficiency in deploying and managing services on Microsoft Azure, understanding of Azure Storage and Microsoft Fabric concepts, and experience in designing, implementing, and managing data lakes and Databricks on Azure are mandatory skills required for this role. Moreover, strong programming skills in C# core, SQL, MVC core/Blazor, Java Script, HTML, and CSS are essential. Proficiency in version control using Git, as well as experience with GitLab for CI/CD pipelines, is also necessary. Cross-discipline and cross-group collaboration skills, a passion for delivering high-quality user experiences, and strong problem-solving abilities are qualities we value in potential candidates. Additionally, the ability to quickly adapt to new technologies and solutions from both within the company and the Open Source community is crucial. Experience in Agile Framework is considered a nice-to-have skill for this position.,
