Job Description

Role & Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Azure Databricks and PySpark.
Write optimized PySpark and SQL scripts for data transformation and analysis.
Collaborate with data architects, analysts, and business teams to understand data requirements.
Perform data ingestion from various sources into Azure Databricks environment.
Monitor and troubleshoot performance issues in data pipelines and optimize for efficiency.
Implement best practices for data quality, security, and governance.
Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment activities.
Document technical designs, processes, and workflows.
Stay updated with the latest technologies and trends in big data and cloud computing.
Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance.

Preferred Candidate Profile

6 to 12 years of experience in data engineering or big data development.
Strong expertise in Azure Databricks and PySpark development.
Proficient in SQL and data modeling concepts.
Experience with cloud platforms, especially Microsoft Azure.
Knowledge of ETL tools and data warehousing concepts.
Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
Ability to work in an agile environment and handle multiple priorities.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Immediate to 15 days notice period availability.
