Job Title: Senior AWS Application Developer

Description:

We are seeking a seasoned AWS Application Developer with 6–8 years of experience in designing, developing, and deploying enterprise-grade applications. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Java and Spring Boot, with deep expertise in AWS services and infrastructure. This role demands strong architectural thinking, hands-on development skills, and the ability to lead deployment and support efforts across cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and develop scalable RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot
• Design and implement serverless solutions using AWS Lambda and API Gateway
• Lead infrastructure automation using AWS CloudFormation and best practices in IaC
• Manage and optimize AWS services including EC2, S3, ALB, CloudWatch, and IAM
• Set up robust monitoring, alerting, and logging frameworks for production systems
• Own deployment pipelines and ensure seamless CI/CD integration
• Provide technical leadership in support and incident resolution across environments
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align infrastructure, security, and application goals
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to code reviews and architectural decisions

Must Have & Desired Skills:

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 6–8 years of experience in backend development with Java and Spring Boot
• Strong hands-on expertise in AWS services: Lambda, API Gateway, CloudWatch, CloudFormation, EC2, S3, ALB
• Proven experience in designing and deploying cloud-native applications
• Solid understanding of infrastructure, networking, and security in AWS
• Experience in production support, root cause analysis, and performance tuning
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, CodePipeline)
• Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python) for automation and tooling
• Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Qualifications

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Developer – Associate/Professional
• Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, ECS, EKS)
• Exposure to observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack
• Knowledge of cost optimization and governance in cloud environments
