Job Description

:Role & responsibilities

An Automation Tester with Database Testing expertise ensures application and database accuracy, reliability, and performance.
This role involves designing automation frameworks, validating data integrity, optimizing queries, and integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines.
They collaborate with developers, DBAs, and DevOps to ensure end-to-end quality assurance.

Preferred candidate profile

Automation Testing & Frameworks Develop and execute automated test cases for UI, API, and database validation.
Build and maintain test automation frameworks using Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium Automate test scripts using Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#.
Integrate automation tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, and Azure DevOps.
Database Testing & Validation Validate data integrity, transactions, indexing, and stored procedures.
Perform SQL query optimization and data consistency checks.
Experience with Relational and NoSQL databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle, MongoDB, and Cassandra. Use database testing tools like SQL Profiler, DBeaver, Toad, DBUnit, QuerySurge. Automate database validation using Flyway, Liquibase.
API & Backend Testing Perform functional, integration, and performance testing for APIs. Use API testing tools like Postman, RestAssured, SoapUI, and Karate.
Performance & Security Testing Con t load and stress testing with JMeter, k6, Locust. Ensure database security compliance and prevent SQL injection attacks.
Soft Skills & Collaboration Work with developers, DBAs, and DevOps teams to troubleshoot database-related issues. Provide detailed test reports and recommendations for database optimizations.
