• 68 years of hands-on experience in

  API Automation (Rest Assured + Java)

  and

  Web Automation (Selenium + Java).

• Strong command of

  Core Java (OOPs, Collections, Streams, Exception Handling).

• Experience in designing and maintaining

  automation frameworks

  (Hybrid, Data-Driven, POM).

• Proficiency with

  TestNG/JUnit, Maven/Gradle, Git, and JSON parsing (Jackson/Gson).

• Good understanding of

  BDD (Cucumber)

  and writing Gherkin scenarios.

• Strong experience with

  SQL

  for backend validation and test data setup.

• Knowledge of

  CI/CD pipelines

  (Jenkins / Azure DevOps) including integration and debugging.

• Ability to troubleshoot automation failures at

  API, UI, code, and pipeline

  level.

• Excellent

  communication, documentation, analytical thinking, and stakeholder handling skills.

• Ability to work

  independently, manage end-to-end QA lifecycle, and mentor junior team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain

  API automation

  using Rest Assured and

  UI automation

  using Selenium (Java).

• Build scalable, modular, and reusable

  automation frameworks

  aligned with project requirements.

• Create and execute automated

  functional, regression, smoke, and integration

  test suites.

• Integrate automated tests into

  CI/CD pipelines

  and ensure stable execution across environments.

• Perform

  RCA for defects, identify gaps, and ensure closure through corrective actions.

• Collaborate closely with BA, Dev, PM, and stakeholders to gather requirements and clarify test scope.

• Manage

  test planning, estimation, coverage tracking, and test reports with clear quality metrics.

• Handle complex debugging, analyze logs, fix script issues, and stabilize flaky tests.

• Ensure timely delivery of automation deliverables and maintain high-quality coding standards.

Good to Have

• Experience with

  Postman, Swagger, or API mocking tools.

• Understanding of

  Cloud platforms

  (AWS/Azure) and container concepts (Docker).

• Experience with versioning strategies, branching models, and code review practices.

• Knowledge of

  Playwright as secondary automation tools.

• Familiarity with Agile ceremonies, user story grooming, and QA process optimization.
