Senior Automation Engineer/Lead

Job Description: As a Senior Automation Test Engineer/Lead with 6+ years of experience (10+ years preferred), you will play a crucial role in designing and developing scalable automation frameworks using Java Selenium. Your responsibilities will include creating and executing automated tests for web and API layers, as well as integrating testing processes into CI/CD pipelines within Agile environments. Key Responsibilities: - Design and develop automation frameworks utilizing Java Selenium. - Collaborate with developers and QA teams to establish and implement test strategies for UI and API layers. - Automate test cases for functional, regression, and integration testing of web applications. - Perform cross-browser, cross-platform, and responsive testing. - Create and maintain scalable test scripts, integrating them with CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI. - Conduct API automation using Restassure and validate backend services. - Develop detailed test plans and test cases ensuring comprehensive coverage. - Troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and uphold quality standards across releases. Required Skills: - 4+ years of experience in test automation with a specialization in Java Selenium. - Proficiency in modern automation frameworks like POM, BDD, or hybrid models. - Strong scripting skills and ability to write automation tests in Java and JavaScript. - Experience in API automation testing using Restassure. - Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions. - Sound understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in a Scrum team. - Proficient in version control using Git or Bitbucket.,
