Role Overview: You will be working as a Senior Associate/Team lead/ Assistant Manager in Automation Testing, with the job location being in Chennai or Mumbai. You should have at least 2+ years of experience in Automation Testing and possess strong Java knowledge to write code/functions for complex test scenarios and integration points. Your role will involve working with multiple technologies, including legacy and digital systems. Additionally, you should have experience with automation scripting, the ability to code and debug scripts, and knowledge of automation tools such as Selenium. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and execute automated API tests for RESTful applications using tools like RestAssured or equivalent - Implement and work with testing frameworks such as Cucumber, TestNG, or JUnit - Create and enhance Automation frameworks - Possess strong communication and analytical skills - Work in a behavior-driven development model (BDD) - Be proficient in at least one type of database - Relational or NoSQL databases (e.g., Oracle, Teradata, Hadoop, MongoDB) - Have a solid understanding of QA methodology and tools - Program using object-oriented programming principles - Demonstrate the ability to solve logical problems using Java - Be flexible to work in any shifts, including night shifts Qualifications Required: - 2+ years of experience in Automation Testing - Strong Java knowledge - Experience with automation scripting and tools like Selenium - Knowledge of testing frameworks like Cucumber, TestNG, or JUnit - Ability to create and enhance Automation frameworks - Proficiency in at least one type of database - Relational or NoSQL - Solid understanding of QA methodology and tools - Experience with object-oriented programming - Strong analytical and communication skills Company Details: The company is seeking a candidate with 0-45 days of notice period for the role of Senior Associate/Team lead/ Assistant Manager in Automation Testing.
