Senior Associate/Team lead/ Assistant Manager-Automation Tester

The position of Senior Associate/Team lead/Assistant Manager-Automation Tester in Chennai and Mumbai requires a candidate with at least 2 years of experience in Automation Testing. The ideal candidate should possess strong Java knowledge and be capable of writing code for complex test scenarios, integration points, and various technologies. Proficiency in automation scripting, including coding and debugging scripts, is essential for this role. Candidates should have working experience with UI automation tools like Selenium and a good understanding of coding structure and best practices. Experience with automated API tests for RESTful applications using RestAssured or equivalent tools is necessary, along with knowledge of Restful concepts and automation practices. Familiarity with testing frameworks such as Cucumber, TestNG, or JUnit is also expected. Moreover, candidates should have knowledge and experience in creating/enhancing Automation frameworks, strong communication and analytical skills, and the ability to work in a behavior-driven development model. Proficiency with relational or NoSQL databases (such as Oracle, Teradata, Hadoop, MongoDB), QA methodology, and tools is required. Experience in object-oriented programming and a solid understanding of software testing practices are essential. The candidate should be able to solve logical problems using Java and be flexible to work in any shifts, including night shifts. Additionally, preference will be given to candidates with a notice period of 0-45 days.
