Senior Associate US Mortgage Underwriting (L2)

Role Overview: You are being hired as a Senior Associate (L2) for the US Mortgage Underwriting Trans-Processing team in Kochi (Kakkanad). Your main responsibility will be to review mortgage documentation, ensure compliance with investor guidelines, and deliver high-quality work within set deadlines. This role requires prior experience in US Mortgage operations and offers a chance to excel in a performance-driven work environment. Key Responsibilities: - Review mortgage documents and follow specific client requirements. - Conduct credit, income, asset, and property document reviews. - Adhere to investor guidelines and client-specific overlays. - Perform various calculations related to mortgage processing and update LOS systems such as Encompass, Scuba, Blacknight, and AWS. - Communicate effectively with US clients for clarification and additional documentation. - Meet document review timelines while maintaining quality standards. - Actively engage in process improvement and performance enhancement activities. - Ensure schedule adherence and operational discipline. Qualification Required: - 13 years of prior US Mortgage Underwriting experience is preferred. - Graduation is mandatory (B.Tech candidates not eligible). - Strong written and verbal English communication skills for US client interaction. - Basic knowledge of Windows OS and Loan Origination Systems (LOS). - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. - Post-closing experience is mandatory.
