You are invited to attend the HCL TECH MEGA DRIVE for the position of Residential Mortgage Team Leader. This role requires 5 to 8 years of experience in residential mortgage underwriting, specifically for Conventional/FHA/VA loans. The walk-in interview will be held on 22nd and 23rd February 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Sy. No. 89, SEZ Unit-V, 3rd Floor, Tower 8, Gar Laxmi Infobahn, Kokapet, Ranga Reddy District, Hyderabad-500075. Please note that immediate joiners are preferred for this position. As a Residential Mortgage Team Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing a team of underwriters and senior underwriters, ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables. Your role will involve analyzing loan parameters, borrower details such as income, credit, and assets, and making informed decisions to mitigate credit risks. You must adhere to established guidelines, Fair Lending practices, and regulatory requirements while exercising sound underwriting judgment. Key responsibilities include ensuring SLA adherence, guiding the team towards operational excellence, providing functional training, maintaining quality benchmarks, handling client escalations, managing day-to-day operations, and implementing process improvements. You will also be required to handle complex borrower escalations, suggest process re-engineering solutions, and manage team performance effectively. To excel in this role, you must possess excellent reading and comprehension skills, strong decision-making abilities supported by thorough research, analytical and audit skills, effective communication skills, and knowledge of mortgage lending regulations. Additionally, logical reasoning, self-drive, a focus on deliverables, and a positive outlook are essential qualities. The minimum requirements for this position include a Bachelor's degree in any discipline, 5 to 7 years of banking experience with at least 3 years in residential mortgage underwriting, and demonstrated leadership experience. A willingness to work night shifts is a prerequisite.
