Senior ASP .NET Core Developer

You will be responsible for writing clean, well-documented, and efficient code in ASP.NET Core while adhering to best practices and coding standards. Your role will involve developing and maintaining robust and scalable backend services and APIs. You will work closely with Entity Framework Core or other ORM frameworks to interact with relational databases such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL. Additionally, you will be tasked with implementing and managing authentication and authorization mechanisms, designing and implementing RESTful APIs and microservices. As part of your responsibilities, you will participate in code reviews to provide constructive feedback that ensures code quality and promotes knowledge sharing. You will troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex technical issues across the application stack, optimizing application performance and scalability. Collaboration with product managers, designers, and fellow developers throughout the software development lifecycle is essential. Moreover, you will contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and tools, mentor junior developers to foster their technical growth, and stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in the .NET ecosystem and web development. Your qualifications for this position include a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). You should have at least 6 years of professional experience in full-stack or primarily backend development with a strong focus on the .NET ecosystem. Deep understanding and proven experience with the ASP.NET Core framework, proficiency in C# and object-oriented programming principles, and extensive experience working with Entity Framework Core or other ORM frameworks are required. Additionally, you should have a solid understanding of relational database design and querying, experience in designing and implementing RESTful APIs and microservices, familiarity with authentication and authorization patterns, and proficiency in Git or other version control systems. It is essential to have knowledge of software development methodologies such as Agile and Scrum, excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills, as well as strong communication and collaboration abilities. You should be able to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrate a proven ability to lead technical initiatives, and mentor junior developers effectively. Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, and deployment strategies is highly desirable, as is familiarity with testing frameworks such as xUnit, NUnit, and writing unit, integration, and potentially end-to-end tests.
