Senior ASIC Engineer, Switch SoC

As an expert SOC Design and Integration Engineer in Switch Silicon group at NVIDIA, you will be part of a team dedicated to crafting and implementing cutting-edge Switch Silicon chips. Your role will involve making a significant impact in a dynamic, technology-focused environment by developing high-speed communication devices that offer the highest throughput and lowest latency. **Key Responsibilities:** - Understand all features of a given project and define project milestones based on internal roadmaps - Develop system-level methodologies, tools, and IPs for efficient and scalable SOC building - Work on SOC Assembly and drive cross-functional teams towards SOC milestone execution - Integrate all components for a defined project milestone and deliver the model for further verification - Utilize skills in Perl, Python, or other scripting languages **Qualifications Required:** - BS/MS with 4+ years of semiconductor design and architecture experience - Hands-on experience in all phases of SOC development in multiple ASIC projects - Proficiency in design and verification tools, programming languages, and collaboration with software teams - Experience in successful tape outs of complex SoCs in advanced process nodes - Strong verbal and written communication skills for cross-functional team interaction - Ability to collaborate and solve complex problems across various Chip Design Functions - Good teamwork spirit and collaboration skills - Experience in synthesis, physical design, and DFT is a plus - Background in RTL Build and Design Automation is a plus As an applicant, you can stand out by having: - Chip lead technical leadership experience in delivering complex SOCs - Skills in RTL coding, debug, performance/power/area analysis, and trade-offs - Experience working closely with physical design teams for optimized ASIC development - Strong coding skills in scripting languages like Perl, Python At NVIDIA, we offer highly competitive salaries and a comprehensive benefits package.
