The Oracle Fusion Financials Receivables team is looking for a passionate and experienced Senior Applications Engineer to design, develop, and deliver enterprise-grade, cloud-based Receivables solutions in Financials space. As a key member of the engineering team, you will collaborate closely with Product Managers, Product Owners, and cross-functional stakeholders to translate product vision and customer needs into scalable, high-quality features. In this role, you will lead the technical design and development of complex features, ensuring alignment with real-world usage patterns and enterprise-grade architectural principles. Your strong technical skills, paired with a good understanding of customer use cases, will enable you to build innovative, AI-enhanced financial solutions that drive value for Oracle's global customer base. As a Senior Applications Engineer in the team you will need to Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with product managers, product owners, and stakeholders to understand business needs and contribute to user story and backlog item creation. Design, develop, and deliver secure and scalable solutions using Java, SQL, and related technologies, with a focus on automation and performance. Participate in defining and implementing technical designs and testing strategies that reflect customer usage patterns and operational needs. Contribute to DevOps efforts by supporting deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting in a cloud environment. Write robust unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and support automated testing pipelines. Engage in performance tuning, debugging, and diagnostics for large-scale enterprise applications. Work closely with senior engineers and technical leads to review designs and adopt engineering best practices. Continuously learn and apply new technologies, frameworks, and tools to improve development velocity and solution quality. Share technical knowledge with peers and contribute to a collaborative and innovation-driven team culture. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field. 3 to 6 years of hands-on software development experience with strong skills in Java, SQL, and Web technologies. Solid understanding of enterprise software architecture and design principles. Exposure to or knowledge of the Order to Cash (O2C) business process, preferably with experience in Accounts Receivable is a plus. Familiarity with REST APIs, microservices architecture, and cloud application design is advantageous. Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and contributing to CI/CD pipelines. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a customer-focused mindset. Enthusiasm for learning, growing, and taking ownership of features and components. Career Level - IC3
