Senior Application Developer-JD Edwards

The Senior Professional, Application Development role involves building, maintaining, integrating, and implementing software applications within the organization. Working with minimal supervision, you will be responsible for performing complex software application testing, quality assurance, configuration, installation, and support to ensure smooth, stable, and timely implementation of new software and updates to installed applications. You will be tasked with building complex application configurations to meet user and business requirements, while also identifying opportunities for improvements in application support processes and procedures. Additionally, you will be involved in advanced programming, configuration, testing, and deployment of fixes or updates for application version releases. As a key player in user communication and support, you will maintain an open channel of communication with users to address complex application support requests and needs. Your responsibilities will also include conducting technical application support activities to deliver on business outcomes and collaborating with multi-functional teams to ensure configurations align with standards and project goals. In this role, you will lead the prioritization of incoming incident tickets and user requests and manage positive relationships with software vendors, including negotiating complex contracts. The minimum requirement for this position is 2 years of relevant work experience, typically reflecting 3 years or more of relevant experience. Proficiency in JDE Development Tools such as Object Management Workbench (OMW) for creating/modifying UBE reports, applications, and business functions is essential. You should also be adept in Named Event Rules (NER) and Event Rule programming for interactive applications, as well as designing and maintaining batch reports using tools like RDA and BI Publisher. Hands-on experience in BI Publisher, Business Functions, Table Relationships, Data Dictionary, Form Design, OVR, and OVFS is required. You should be proficient in Database & SQL, including SQL querying, Julian Date Conversion, and debugging with SQL. Knowledge of integrations & interfaces like RTE/Z-table processing, flat file import/export, and FTP/Filewatch/Scheduler is also necessary. Having a foundational understanding of Finance (GL, AP, AR), Sales & Distribution, Inventory & Manufacturing, and Fixed Assets, Lease Accounting will be beneficial. Experience with JD Edwards Orchestrator, UX One/Caf One, Citizen Developer Tools, Low Code/No Code platforms in JDE, and cloud integration with Oracle Cloud or AWS/Azure hosting JDE is a plus.,
