Must Have Skills:

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of professional Android development experience
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Android SDK
• Deep understanding of Android architecture components (e.g., View Model, Live Data, Jetpack)
• Experience working with RESTful APIs and popular libraries (Retrofit, Glide, etc.)
• Familiarity with MVVM or similar architecture patterns
• Solid experience with Git and version control best practices
• Experience with WebSocket or WebRTC
• Experience with media-related features on Android (audio/video playback, streaming)
• Strong understanding of Android-to-backend interactions, including:
• Network request lifecycle and error handling
• API versioning and contract management
• Authentication and session management (e.g., OAuth, tokens)
• Data synchronization and offline strategies
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with backend teams, including:
• Reviewing and discussing API specifications (OpenAI/Swagger)
• Providing feedback on API design for mobile friendliness
• Debugging end-to-end issues with tools like Charles Proxy, Postman, or Wireshark
