As a Senior Data and Analytics professional at EY-GDS, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing data extraction, transformation, and loading processes using Informatica PowerCenter and IDMC. Your responsibilities will include: - Designing and developing data extraction using PowerCenter. - Designing and developing ETL processes using IDMC. - Leading and contributing to the design, coding, testing, and deployment of the migration engine. - Overseeing the development of ETL jobs, workflows, and mappings in IDMC. - Leading a team of ETL developers, data engineers, and analysts. - Working closely with business analysts, data architects, and database administrators. - Providing technical mentorship and enforcing best practices in ETL development. - Monitoring and tuning Informatica workflows for high performance. - Troubleshooting ETL job failures and data discrepancies. - Maintaining technical documentation for all migration processes. Skills and Experience required for this role: - Experience in handling structured and semi-structured data. - 3-7 years of experience. - Strong knowledge of Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, and IDMS (mainframe). - Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, stored procedures, and performance tuning. - Expertise with Informatica Cloud (IICS) and cloud data migration. - Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (e.g., CI/CD, Gitlab). - Deep understanding of architectural principles, frameworks, and best practices. - Knowledge of database design and data modeling. Nice to Have skills: - Banking domain knowledge (Core Banking). - Familiarity with Data migration process in a banking implementation project. - Experience with data masking, encryption, and security compliance. - Knowledge of virtualization technologies and storage architectures. - Familiarity with Agile methodology.
