Position Summary

Senior Account Executive

Key Responsibilities

1.

• Maintain accurate financial records using accounting software (Tally ERP, Zoho Books, etc.)
• Post journal entries, record payments and receipts, and process adjustments

2.

• Create and issue client and vendor invoices accurately and timely
• Track invoice status, payment schedules, and ensure timely follow-up for collections
• Reconcile payments received and match them against invoices
• Coordinate with internal departments and clients to resolve billing discrepancies
• Maintain an organized record of all invoices and receipts for audit and reporting purposes

3.

• Prepare and file timely GST, TDS, and professional tax returns
• Ensure statutory compliance and timely reconciliation of GSTR 2A/2B

4.

• Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual MIS reports
• Assist in preparation of P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statements
• Coordinate with auditors for account finalization

5.

• Maintain audit trails and documentation
• Support statutory/internal audit processes
• Recommend improvements for financial controls

6.

• Conduct bank/vendor/inter-company reconciliations
• Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies
• Track receivables/payables and ensure follow-up

Skills & Competencies

Technical Proficiency:

• Accounting standards, bookkeeping, journal entries
• Taxation (GST/TDS), statutory compliance
• Reconciliation, audit handling
• MS Excel: VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Formulas
• Accounting software: Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks
