Senior Accountant, Vessel Accounting

As a Senior Accountant for Vessel Accounting at Fleet Management India Private Limited, you will play a crucial role in managing the financial reporting for a diverse range of vessels. Your responsibilities will include: - Fully understanding client needs and ensuring deliverables meet those needs by implementing best accounting practices - Handling vessel accounting for a minimum of 15 vessels, including raising fund requests, day-to-day invoicing, and month-end adjustments - Preparation of monthly vessel financial accounts, cash flow statements, and budget variance reports for review by superiors - Timely submission of Vessel Accounting Reports to customers and addressing their queries promptly - Coordinating and communicating with other departments within the company to gather necessary information for vessel reports - Maintaining strong relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction Qualifications required for this role include: - University Graduate in Accounting, Finance, or related fields - Minimum 5-7 years of experience in the Accounting industry, with preference for shipping experience - Knowledge of Financial Reports, Cash Flow Reports, Budget vs. Actual Reports, etc. - Working knowledge of ERP systems like Oracle, SAP, etc. will be advantageous Joining Fleet Management India Private Limited will expose you to a dynamic environment with a global presence and a diverse client base.
