As a Bell Labs Radio Systems Intern - Semantic Communication, you will be part of the team dedicated to making breakthroughs in wireless communications. Your role will involve working on semantic communication for 6G and beyond, focusing on new algorithms, concepts, and systems. This 4-month internship will take place onsite in Bengaluru, India. Your responsibilities will include identifying the state-of-the-art of the proposed project, conducting relevant analysis, proposing solutions, implementing these solutions, evaluating performance, comparing against legacy benchmarks, and providing conclusions and recommendations. Additionally, you will document technical details, make internal presentations, and write technical reports for potential publications in conferences or journals. To excel in this role, you should possess self-motivation, strong troubleshooting skills, and a background in wireless communication, signal processing, and machine learning. A track record of scientific publications is desired, along with hands-on experience in machine learning projects and knowledge/experience in semantic communication.
