Job Title: Chinese Chef Location: The Fern Brentwood Resort, Mussoorie Department: Kitchen / Culinary Reports To: Executive Chef / Sous Chef Experience Required: 3–5 years in a similar role in a reputed hotel or restaurant Salary: As per industry standards Accommodation & Meals: Provided (as per resort policy) Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and creative Chinese Chef to join our culinary team at The Fern Brentwood Resort, Mussoorie. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience preparing authentic Chinese cuisine, excellent leadership abilities, and a passion for food presentation and guest satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and cook authentic Chinese dishes (Szechuan, Cantonese, Hunan, etc.) with consistency and high quality. Plan, develop and execute Chinese food menus in coordination with the Executive Chef. Maintain food cost and portion control without compromising quality. Ensure hygiene, safety, and food handling standards (FSSAI compliance). Supervise and train junior kitchen staff assigned to the Chinese section. Monitor inventory, requisition supplies, and minimize wastage. Innovate seasonal and special Chinese menus for guests and events. Interact with guests (when required) to take feedback and enhance culinary experience. Work closely with the F&B service team to ensure smooth operations.
