Selenium SDET/ Serenity SDET/ Automation Tester

As an SDET Engineer with deep expertise in the Serenity Framework, your primary role will involve designing, developing, and maintaining robust automation solutions. You will be responsible for the following key responsibilities: - Designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts and BDD scenarios using the Serenity Framework (with Cucumber/JUnit). - Developing comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test data for functional, regression, and integration testing. - Integrating Serenity tests into CI/CD pipelines and ensuring effective, automated reporting of results. - Collaborating closely with developers, product managers, and manual testers to clarify requirements and advocate for quality from the start. - Troubleshooting, analyzing, and reporting automation-related issues, tracking defects to closure. - Reviewing and maintaining the automation framework; staying up-to-date with Serenity advancements and best practices. - Mentoring team members on Serenity usage and driving standards for test automation architecture and code quality. In order to excel in this role, you should possess the following skills and qualifications: - 7-9 years of experience in test automation as an SDET or QA Automation Engineer. - Extensive hands-on experience with the Serenity framework, including configuration and advanced reporting. - Proficiency in Java (preferred) or other OOP languages used with Serenity. - Experience in integrating test automation suites into CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, etc. - Strong understanding of BDD principles and experience with Serenity. - Solid knowledge of software QA methodologies, testing types, and best practices.
