Selenium SDET/ Serenity SDET/ Automation Tester

You are looking for an experienced SDET Engineer with a strong proficiency in the Serenity Framework. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust automation solutions. Your primary tasks will include creating and executing automated test scripts and BDD scenarios using the Serenity Framework with Cucumber/JUnit. Additionally, you will be developing comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test data for functional, regression, and integration testing. It will be crucial for you to integrate Serenity tests into CI/CD pipelines and ensure effective, automated reporting of results. Collaboration with developers, product managers, and manual testers will be essential to clarify requirements and advocate for quality from the start. You will also be expected to troubleshoot, analyze, and report automation-related issues, tracking defects to closure. Keeping the automation framework up-to-date with Serenity advancements and best practices will be part of your responsibilities. As a senior member of the team, you will play a key role in mentoring team members on Serenity usage and driving standards for test automation architecture and code quality. The ideal candidate for this position should have 7-9 years of experience in test automation as an SDET or QA Automation Engineer. Extensive hands-on experience with the Serenity framework, including configuration and advanced reporting, is a must. Proficiency in Java or other OOP languages used with Serenity is preferred. Experience with integrating test automation suites into CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Azure DevOps, etc., is required. A strong understanding of BDD principles and solid knowledge of software QA methodologies, testing types, and best practices will be beneficial in excelling in this role.,
