The Geotechnical Application Engineer role at Bentley Systems encompasses a comprehensive range of technical and client-facing responsibilities. Your primary tasks will include maintaining client relationships, delivering technical demonstrations, providing training and consulting services, and contributing to business growth through your expertise in 3D geological modeling with LeapFrog Works, as well as proficiency in geotechnical analysis software such as PLAXIS and GeoStudio. Your analytical capabilities, enthusiasm for learning new technologies, and excellent communication skills will be essential as you support client success and drive product adoption. You will play a crucial role in maximizing client value, developing strategies for expanding the user base in the geotechnical engineering market, and enhancing user satisfaction through superior technical support. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve developing and delivering technical presentations and software demonstrations focused on LeapFrog Works applications, providing training and consulting services to clients on 3D geological modeling and geotechnical analysis workflows, creating training materials and technical documentation, analyzing user feedback to enhance user experience, resolving technical issues efficiently, and supporting business development initiatives through technical expertise and client relationship management. You will also collaborate with product development teams to provide user feedback and feature recommendations. To qualify for this role, you should have a Master's/Ph.D. Degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Geological Engineering, or equivalent professional experience, with advanced proficiency in LeapFrog Works and working knowledge of PLAXIS and GeoStudio. Additional experience with complementary geotechnical software platforms is advantageous, along with 3-5 years of hands-on geotechnical engineering experience. Strong communication skills, fluency in English, the ability to learn and support technical software products, and experience with technical training delivery are also required. Preferred additional skills include experience with data integration workflows, scripting or automation tools, technical sales support, or application engineering roles.
