Job description: To manage the logistics and storage operations to ensure seamless distribution of Seed Potatoes for multiplication as well as commercial crops. To search and finalize the cold stores for seed storage in the state of Gujarat and handling cold storage operations as per laid down SOPs. To negotiate with vendors and coordinating with transporters for acquiring the cost-effective transport solutions. To monitor daily performance and ensuring customer service in compliance with quality and cost parameters. To handle pre-positioning of seed to match requirement of Agronomy and Sales teams for commercial crops production. To ensure seed quality at the time of filling stores, act as cross check for Seed Production Team. To work closely with Seed Production, Sales and Marketing teams. To maintain all records of seed inventory. To get physical Stock Audits done on quarterly basis and report same to Finance team. The candidate should have: Basic understandings regarding handling of perishable food products and quality of Seed Potato or similar etc. Should have good exposure to cold chain
