Key responsibility includes but not limited to: Monitor and Review Cyber / security related policies on Active Directory (AD) and Azure Active Directory (AAD) for individual Identities, Distribution list, Security Groups, and non human accounts (if any); Identification of TERMED or DISABLED account, and assess as per Organizations JML (Joiner, Mover, Leaver) Process; Maintain minimum security on Identity platform to ensure its integrations are limited to approved target systems only; Vendor coordination for any security threat / Vulnerability remediation; and Conduct regular assessment and remediation on Directory service landscape of TAL, under the supervision of TAL Cyber. Includes but not limited to (i) Identity Review, (ii) Group Review, (iii) Review use of MFA, (iv) Security configurations of Domain Controller (in case of on prem AD), (v) Review integrated components like DNS or DHCP from Security POV. Tools: Windows Active Directory (On prem) Azure Active Directory (Entra ID) Description : This service is specific to Active Directory (AD) and Azure Active Directory security. The key features in the service includes, but not limited to the (a) authentication and authorization using protocols like Kerberos and New Technology LAN Manager (NTLM), (b) Group Policy for enforcing consistent security settings across the domain, (c) Access Control Lists (ACLs) for directory objects permissions, (d) Multi Factor Authentication (MFA) as an additional layer against password centric threats, and (e) auditing and logging enablement to monitor user activities and demonstrate compliance with regulatory requirements.
