Job Description: As an Assistant Security Officer with 1-4 years of experience and AVSEC qualification, you will be responsible for reporting to the shift in-charge or Security station in-charge and assisting them in all assignments. Your primary role will involve maintaining records such as Training Records and AEP records for the airline security staff stationed at the airport. It will be your duty to submit a daily report to your reporting manager, covering all security matters at your allocated area. You will be held accountable for any security lapses within your allocations and will need to closely coordinate with all airline staff, reporting all activities to the Security Officer on a daily basis. Additionally, you will be in charge of maintaining all security gadgets provided for security functions such as access control to the aircraft, security searches, screening of baggage, and surveillance of screened baggage until acceptance at check-in counters. As a Security Agent with less than 1 year of experience, your responsibilities will include access control to the aircraft, security searches, screening of baggage, and surveillance of baggage until acceptance at check-in counters. You will also be responsible for the security control of checked baggage, passengers" baggage reconciliation identification, security of baggage tags, boarding cards, flight documents, mishandled/unaccompanied/transit/transfer baggage, and conducting secondary checks at the ladder point of aircraft.
