Description
As a skilled and detail-oriented technician, your role involves the repair, maintenance, and servicing of various security products, such as CCTV systems, access control, biometric devices, alarm systems, intercoms, and intrusion detection systems. Your primary goal is to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and safety of installed security systems through routine maintenance and responsive repairs. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct regular preventive maintenance on all security systems and equipment. - Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair issues in security systems, including hardware and software faults. - Install, test, and configure new security devices or components when necessary. - Maintain documentation of service records, maintenance activities, and repair logs. - Coordinate with vendors or manufacturers for warranty repairs or part replacements. - Ensure all systems comply with applicable safety and security standards. - Respond to service calls and resolve issues in a timely and efficient manner. - Train clients or end-users on the operation and basic troubleshooting of security equipment. - Update firmware and software of electronic security devices as required. - Perform site assessments to recommend system upgrades or preventive maintenance schedules. Qualifications Required: - Proven experience in the repair and maintenance of security systems. - Knowledge of CCTV systems, access control, biometric devices, alarm systems, intercoms, and intrusion detection systems. - Strong troubleshooting skills for both hardware and software faults. - Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively. - Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and vendors. - Familiarity with safety and security standards.
