Role Description Non-Traditional & Asset Transfer team is part of Wealth management operations which takes care of asset movement and alternative investments for Private bank and Brokerage clients along with few other miscellaneous requests from business. Onboarding the client assets from counterparties for incoming WM clients in a timely manner while working with front office, custodian and counterparties. Terminating the client accounts upon request from FO and ensuring that cash and securities are transferred within expected time and accurately. Pricing of alternative investment products for private bank and brokerage clients. New client investments in alternatives which will include private equity and Hedge funds closing, capital call and distribution. Supervision of work for couple of resources in the team & reporting the same to team manager. Ensuring all process controls as laid out in KODs are followed by team and ensure KODs are kept up to date. Job Summary The candidate should be well versed with Pricing concepts like Pricing methodologies, Price types, vendor hierarchies and other related concepts. He/she must be a dynamic personality with ability to work tactically wherever needed with quality results. The candidate must be having a good communication and should be competitive to connect with stakeholders across the globe. The candidate must meet the deliverables on any given day and make sure all requests are attended and delivered. The candidate should be assisting in any ad hoc requests as needed by the stakeholders. He/she should be working with his team members/superiors to produce effective results. A self-starter and self-motivated individual is desired. Job Responsibilities: • Processing and verification of daily and monthly pricing across multiple asset classes. • Handling of various types of pricing exceptions and corrective measures in the relevant systems • Setup of OTC securities, including unlisted derivatives, illiquid stocks and private equity, bank debt and swaps, and their processing into the fund accounting platform will be an added advantage. • Processing and verification of daily market prices on listed securities from multiple vendors, including market research on large variances and stale/missing prices. • Strong knowledge on overall pricing concepts like price types, vendor hierarchy, price methodology, market value concept, etc. • Processing and verification of valuations on OTC securities from data vendors and counterparty statements. • Review of corporate actions on portfolio holdings and necessary correction and posting of exceptions. • Documentation of trade file mapping requirements for existing and new clients, and working with various internal groups (Analytics, Client Services) and external client if needed, to automate pricing workflows. • Working closely with multiple vendors to identify issues, track them and drive their resolution. Knowledge on API for BBG and Reuters is preferred. • Maintenance and creation of standard Operating Procedures Qualification & Experience required • Bachelors/Master’s degree in a financial domain • Operational experience in a financial institution will be a strong advantage. • Knowledge of the hedge fund administration business and/or industry will be a strong advantage. • Knowledge of either Advent Geneva ®, or Broadridge suite of applications related to the Fund Administration business, or both, will be a strong advantage. • Excellent Communication skills • Flexible with shift timings • Ability to work under time constraints and handle pressure • Strong analytical skills, detail orientation & service commitment • Good understanding of programming in VBA would be good plus. • Strong Analytical skills and attention to detail. • An ability to work under pressure with changing priorities Management data securities,Pricing,Bloomberg and Reference data
