Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Security Officer (SO) to oversee and ensure the safety and security of our Unit 1 premises at Thoppampatti Pirivu, Coimbatore. The ideal candidate will have 5 to 7 years of relevant experience, possess strong leadership qualities, and maintain a proactive approach to risk prevention.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control entry and exit of personnel, visitors, and vehicles as per company procedures.
• Supervise and coordinate with contract security personnel to ensure effective coverage across all shifts.
• Conduct regular patrols of the premises to identify and eliminate potential security risks.
• Maintain security-related documents such as visitor logs, incident reports, and access records.
• Ensure CCTV surveillance systems are monitored and functioning effectively.
• Respond promptly to emergencies, alarms, and unusual incidents and ensure they are reported and addressed properly.
• Enforce company policies related to safety, discipline, and access control.
• Collaborate with HR, Admin, and Safety teams to support audits, investigations, and compliance.
• Conduct training and briefings for guards to improve vigilance and emergency preparedness.
• Maintain close coordination with local authorities, fire departments, and law enforcement when needed.

Key Requirements:

• Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in industrial or corporate security.
• Prior experience in handling manpower, shift scheduling, and incident management.
• Strong knowledge of security protocols, access control, and surveillance systems.
• Ability to work in rotational shifts and handle pressure situations calmly and effectively.
• Good communication and leadership skills.
• Preferable: Ex-servicemen or candidates with industrial security background.
• Basic computer knowledge for report preparation and email communication.
