Security Officer (Female)

As a Security Officer (Female) at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore Campus, you will be responsible for supervising and ensuring proper manning of all Security posts on a 24x7 basis. Your duties will include managing road traffic inside the campus, assisting in Fire Services, and maintaining records of all gate passes - both IN and OUT. Additionally, you will be required to conduct Security checks during both day and night shifts, and submit periodic reports. You will be expected to perform surprise and other checks as directed by the Campus Director, ensuring the effective utilization and maintenance of Security equipment such as handheld sets, whistles, search lights/torches, etc. Providing training to Security personnel through lectures, demonstrations, and classes will also be a part of your responsibilities. Maintaining a strong liaison with the Coimbatore/Palakkad Police departments and the Police station at Chavadi will be crucial in this role. This position falls under the Non-Teaching category and is based in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu.
