Job Description

As a Security Managed Services Engineer (L1) at NTT DATA, your primary responsibility is to provide a managed service to clients, ensuring the operational continuity of their Firewall infrastructure. Your main objective will be to proactively identify, investigate, and route incidents to the correct resolver group, with a focus on maintaining zero missed service level agreement (SLA) conditions. You will be handling first-line support for standard and low complexity incidents and service requests. Additionally, you may also contribute to and support project work as needed. Key Responsibilities: - Assessment and management of Data Protection breaches in collaboration with the Senior Manager, Data Breaches and Issues, and other relevant teams - Adherence to SOPs, customer Run Books, and standard processes while recommending changes and improvements - Utilization and documentation of best practices, amending existing documentation when necessary - Security incident handling and response, including End Point Protection, Enterprise Detection and response tools, attack analysis, malware analysis, network forensics, and computer forensics - Utilization of LAN technologies, Windows and Linux operating systems, and general security infrastructure - Utilization of knowledge articles in incident diagnosis and resolution - Monitoring service delivery against service level agreements and maintaining relevant records - Performing daily backups for all SOC devices and transferring the backups to external storage - Firewall policy optimization and fine-tuning based on the Algosec firewall analyzer - Maintaining the firewall policy security rating above 95% - Performing version upgrades, patch updates, and SOC device restoration Qualifications Required: - Academic Qualifications: B.E, B.Tech (Excluding Mechanical, Civil, and Aerospace), MCA - Certification: PCNSE About NTT DATA: NTT DATA is a global innovator of business and technology services, with a commitment to helping clients innovate, optimize, and transform for long-term success.
