Description
The position of Security Incident Manager at CGI Global Security Operations Center Security Operations team requires a minimum of 3+ years of relevant experience in Security Incident Management and Remedy ticketing systems. As an Incident Manager, you will be responsible for efficiently coordinating security events, assigning, following up, and closing security incidents within the GSOC. This role offers flexible work hours, exposure to industry-leading security tools, and interaction with CGI upper management. Key responsibilities include triaging security incidents, reviewing and reassigning incidents to technical teams, managing unresolved security events promptly, providing updates to Global Security team and management, coordinating technical calls for incident resolution, monitoring security incident investigations and remediations, documenting incident progress and resolution, and identifying process improvements for incident handling. Ideal candidates should possess at least 3+ years of experience in Incident Management, Security Incident Management, Remedy ticketing systems, and IT Service Management. ITIL, EC-Council Certified Incident Handler, or SANS GCIH certifications are considered assets. Strong English communication skills, leadership abilities, analytical skills, organizational skills, attention to detail, and the capability to work independently and prioritize tasks are crucial. Availability for flexible work hours, participation in on-call rotation, and the ability to communicate technical information clearly to senior management are also required. The candidate is expected to have expertise in Incident Management, IT Service Management, and Security Operations Center. The position may require working in multiple locations such as Bangalore, Hyderabad, Pune, Mumbai, and Chennai. A degree in IT or Cyber Security is advantageous for this role.
