Security Guard/Crowd Controller

Male candidates, young and energetic up to 35 years with minimum Higher secondary school certificate (12th standard / Plus two) who can read and write English and make entries in registers and Computers.

Besides the above, we need the candidate for monitoring Main Entrance, Lift entrance, floors and Operation theatre and Cathlab area. The candidate must be always on rounds and ensure no intrusion happens by either Patient attender or by any other unauthorized visitor.

JOB DESCRIPTION – SECURITY GUARD / SECURITY ASSISTANT (HOSPITAL)

• Monitor Access Points:
• Control and monitor all entry and exit points including main gate, emergency entrance, OPD entry, and lift lobbies to ensure only authorized persons enter the premises.
• Visitor Regulation:

Politely verify visitor identity, issue visitor passes, and ensure adherence to hospital visiting hours and policies.

Maintain order and proper use of lifts, give priority to patients, elderly, and emergency cases, and prevent overcrowding and misuse.

Conduct regular patrols across hospital floors, wards, ICU areas, and public spaces to ensure safety, discipline, and security compliance.

Assist patients, attendants, and visitors with directions and guidance, while maintaining a courteous and supportive attitude

Immediately report suspicious activity, security breaches, unattended belongings, or untoward incidents to the Supervisor / Security Officer / Admin team.

Act promptly during medical, fire, or evacuation emergencies and follow hospital safety and disaster management protocols.

Safeguard hospital property, equipment, and infrastructure against theft, damage, or misuse.

Work in coordination with nursing staff, front office, housekeeping, and administration to ensure smooth hospital operations.

Ensure compliance with hospital rules by staff, patients, and visitors, and report any misconduct or disturbances appropriately.
