As a Network Security Engineering Enterprise Architect (GSR8) based in India, you will play a crucial role in supporting Ford's comprehensive Enterprise Network & Security architecture transformation. Your primary responsibility will be to lead the Network Security Engineering Products team towards becoming a center of technical excellence and customer advocacy, with a focus on Security Firewalls, Proxy, ISE, SDN Networks, and Wireless technologies. Your role will involve identifying, analyzing, and resolving existing network security design weaknesses and vulnerabilities that could potentially pose risks to the current infrastructure. You will be an expert in addressing zero-day security vulnerabilities and will collaborate with various infrastructure domain teams to mitigate any threats that could impact Ford's global reputation. In your capacity as a Network Security Engineering Enterprise Architect, you will spearhead the development of future network security products by contributing to network design and automation strategies utilized across multiple Engineering Branches, Data Centers, Manufacturing Plants, and Remote users. You will be instrumental in defining the road map for ZTNA/SASE deployment leveraging Prisma Access/Cloud, setting up support models, and implementing automation to enhance end-user experience. The Global Network Security Engineering Enterprise Architect will work closely with software developers at Ford and OEMs in collaboration with Ford's Network and Security Operations Team to ensure successful product setup. This position falls under Ford's Enterprise Tech department and will report to the Regional Network Delivery Manager, who may be based in the same or another region. As the lead, you will be responsible for ensuring the "Always On" (24 x 7) availability of Ford's Global Network Product offerings by collaborating with Network & Security Peers from various regions. Keep networking devices firmware / OS up to date as per OEM recommended. Periodic complete architecture review SLA tracking with partners & OEMs Quarterly rule base review to identify unused rules, risky rules and closure of the gaps identified Schedule and implement IPSEC VPN Participate in DR drill and provide necessary support Firewall rule review Track and maintain the policy deviations and exclusions in firewall policies. Virtualization and storage experience and knowledge including, VA assessment, Upgrade, VM provisioning, Storage Allocation/reclaim, upgrade etc.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience with Cisco AAA servers, Cisco Next Gen Firewalls, Palo Alto Firewalls, Citrix Load Balancers, and Cisco ACI & SDN. This role involves designing, implementing, and optimizing network solutions, as well as providing advanced support and guidance to the network team. Key Responsibilities: In depth knowledge of routing protocols like BGP, OSPF, EIGRP and RIP Hands on experience (Expert level) of Routing & Switching on vendor devices Cisco, Palo Alto, Citrix and Cisco ACI Extensive hands on knowledge of Multi-Pod and Multi-Site ACI design, implementation, and support, Tenant constructs, Application network profiles, Contracts, Fabric access policies, extensions & Routing and policies Working knowledge of Citrix and F5 load Balancer products.
