Security Engineer

As a Security expert in the CarSEC team at MBRDI, you will play a crucial role in the platform department by providing inputs and recommendations on Cyber Security topics. Your responsibilities include contributing to the strategic direction of security-related components for the Mercedes-Benz Operating System (MBOS) and ensuring robust security design decisions across different feature verticals. You will also need to understand security requirements and provide technical insights to ECU development teams, resolving complex technical issues while collaborating with cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities: - Participate in the CarSEC team and provide insights into Cyber Security topics - Work as a Security expert in the platform department, influencing the strategic direction of security components for MBOS - Coordinate security design decisions across various feature verticals to enhance product robustness - Provide technical inputs to ECU development teams based on security requirements - Resolve complex technical issues by collaborating with cross-functional teams Qualifications: - BE/B. Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering, Computer Science, or Electrical and Electronics Engineering Expected Skills: - Strong knowledge and experience in AUTOSAR architecture and module interactions - Proficiency in Security Stack components such as CSM, SecOc, CryIf, and Crypto - Expertise in Cryptographic algorithms, Hashing concepts, Digital Signature Schemes, and PKIs (e.g., AES, RSA, ECC, SHA, Public Key Infrastructure) - Hands-on experience in AUTOSAR stack Integration, preferably with Vector stack - Good understanding of communication protocols like CAN, FlexRay, LIN (knowledge of Ethernet is a plus) - Experience with various microcontrollers and proficiency in microcontroller knowledge - Strong skills in Embedded C Programming and Debugging - Proficient in testing and defect analysis - Hands-on experience with Vector Tool CANoe or similar - Strong analytical and communication skills - Knowledge of the German language would be an advantage,
