Job Description Key Responsibilities: Design and develop secure network architectures for on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments. Evaluate and recommend security solutions, tools, and technologies. Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analyses of network infrastructure. Define and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures. Collaborate with IT and DevOps teams to integrate security into system and application design. Monitor network traffic for unusual activity and respond to security incidents. Lead penetration testing and red/blue team exercises. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (e. g. , ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, HIPAA). Provide technical guidance and mentorship to security engineers and analysts. Stay current with emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and security trends. Required Qualifications: Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field. 8+ years of experience in network security or cybersecurity roles. Strong knowledge of firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, SIEM, and endpoint protection. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their security models. Familiarity with Zero Trust Architecture and Secure Access Service Edge (SASE). Proficiency in scripting and automation (Python, PowerShell, etc. ). Relevant certifications (e. g. , CISSP, CCSP, CISM, CEH).
