Security Architect

Key Responsibilities

• Design & Implement Security Architecture:

  Lead the end-to-end design, deployment, and review of security architectures across diverse environments. Ensure alignment with industry best practices and evolving threat landscapes.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  Work closely with engineering, operations, compliance, and business teams to identify security gaps and develop tailored solutions that strengthen the overall security posture.

• Client Engagement:

  Serve as a trusted advisor in client-facing roles, especially interacting with CISO organisations. Translate complex security concepts into actionable recommendations and deliver high-impact presentations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Mentoring & Leadership:

  Guide and mentor fresh graduates and junior team members. Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional growth within the team, with a strong focus on knowledge sharing and skills development.

• Security Reviews & Assessments:

  Conduct comprehensive security assessments, architecture reviews, and risk analyses to ensure that solutions are secure by design and meet client requirements.

Required Skills & Experience

• Extensive hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and reviewing security architectures in enterprise or cloud environments.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to drive security initiatives and improvements.
• Outstanding written and oral communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical topics clearly.
• Proven experience in mentoring and coaching fresh graduates or junior team members, with a genuine enthusiasm for knowledge sharing.
• Track record of successful client engagements, preferably in roles that involve direct collaboration with CISO organisations or executive leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelors or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
• Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CISSP, SABSA, TOGAF, AWS/Azure Security certifications) are highly desirable.
• Minimum 7+ years of relevant experience in cybersecurity architecture roles.
