Monitors systems activities and fine tune system parameters and configuration to optimize performance and ensure security of systems. Install and tests new hardware and software releases. Evaluate and install patches (on devices in scope), perform system upgrades and resolves security issues. Action on advisories Strong background in supporting the development of information security awareness training materials. Ability to ensure the adoption and governance of standard operating procedures. Perform assessments and make recommendations to improve security tools operations and performance with develop quarterly status reports. Perform lifecycle maintenance of security tools with stay up to date on new features and enhancements in corning releases. Develop reports and alerting within the security tools to ensure agent coverage Review endpoint policies for effectiveness at mitigating current threats. Provide technical expertise/support for Health assessment on the products in scope & implementing health assessment recommendation

Job title : Security Operations. Experience : Minimum 3 Years of IT experience. 1 year of experience as a Security Operations. (Large Data Centre experience will be preferred). Location : Hyderabad. Education : BE / B. Tech / M. Tech / MCA / M. Sc in Computers / IT / Electronics. OR BCA / B. Sc with PG Diploma in Computers / IT / Electronics or MBA in IT / Systems. Job description : Skill Set required : 1. Knowledge of operating systems, network devices and security devices. 2. Knowledge of installation configuration of L-2 L3 switches, VLAN configuration etc. 3. Knowledge of Networking protocols. 4. Knowledge of operations and troubleshooting of network security appliances such as firewall, IPS, DDoS, SIEM, Anti-Virus, Patch Management, Application firewall etc. Scope of Work : Data Centre Security Operations staff would have to work 7 days a week 24x7 basis (including holidays). Responsible for operations of the Data Centre Security Operations Centre. Technology Management: Responsible for overall network technology management for the business. Responsible for planning and execution of new technology roll outs, scope expansion and readiness of team from technology standpoint. Manage SOPs, Knowledge documents, KB articles. Implement technical methodology improvement from past failures and learnings. 2. Restoration and Resolution: Identify the network issue based on troubleshooting and decide on the actions required to be implemented for resolving the issue. Refer to required KEDB or Knowledge bases for known issues/repetitive issues and resolution steps. Implement the resolution steps, execute, validate and update ticket with steps taken and outcome. 3. Triage: Once the resolution steps are completed if the issue is still not resolved or if it s an unknown issue and standard troubleshooting methods did not resolve the issue, escalate the ticket to L3 Network SME and support the troubleshooting process, if there is a bridge, continue on the bridge along with the SME. This support includes coordination with 3rd party network vendor technicians. 4. Process Compliance: - Gather information from vendor, customer, analysis from the troubleshooting/investigation, resolution steps implemented etc. and update the tickets regularly, as per the defined process. - Prepare a detailed report on the plan of action for the existing tickets for the next shift andengineer (Shift Handover Report). - Followthrough and execute the various Escalation Matrix (Vendor , Internal and Customer defined). - Ensure tickets are closed post user/customer communication. - Constantly track tickets for SLA adherence and escalate on deviations as defined in the process. 5. Value Proposition: Understand the existing environment and propose any opportunity of improvement.
