The Opportunity This role is a great opportunity to flex and grow those Security Operations Center skills as Planview matures its cyber security posture. You will be the on the frontlines of security helping to monitor, track, and document threats for a Forrester Leader and Gartner Magic Quadrant company. What You'll Do Perform real-time monitoring and correlation of internal and information technology security equipment and systems to determine operational status and performance making use of various Security Incident and Event Management (SIEM) systems and other related security management/console applications. Familiarity with basic security principles such as authentication, authorization, incident detection, and response. Perform basic incident triaging for security alerts from multiple sources (SIEM, WAF, Cloud, Email, etc.) ensuring timely updates. Able to follow detailed instructions, playbooks, runbooks, and maintain a high-level of confidentiality. Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to investigate and resolve security incidents. Document security incidents, investigation findings, and response actions. Participate in incident response exercises and simulations to test and validate response plans. Stay informed on emerging threats and vulnerabilities. Flexible with working in shifts (Morning & Afternoon). Responds positively to requests and takes on additional responsibilities when required. What You'll Bring Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field - equivalent work experience will be considered. Minimum 1-2 years of experience working in one or more of the following domains of security as a L1/L2: Security Operations Center, Incident Response, Network Security, Threat Intelligence and Hunting, Cloud Security (AWS preferred), Vulnerability Management, Microsoft Defender, Web Application Firewall, Security tool implementation and/or Security-focused scripting.
