Securities and Derivatives Supervisor

As an intermediate management level Sec & Derivatives Supervisor at our company, you will be responsible for providing leadership to a team in processing orders and transactions from trading desks and branch offices. Your role is crucial in ensuring the seamless delivery of securities and derivatives transactions. Key Responsibilities: - Supervise team efficiency and ensure performance and quality expectations are met - Resolve escalated issues and provide appropriate closure - Identify process improvement opportunities and train staff on changes - Analyze data to identify and resolve control deficiencies - Serve as backup for the manager when required - Assess risks in business decisions, considering the firm's reputation and compliance with laws and regulations Qualifications: - 7+ years of experience in market settlement of securities such as equities, bonds, and SN - Proficient in settlement instructions like RVP(MT541), DVP(MT543), RF(MT540), DF(MT542) - Strong knowledge of market nuances in ASIAN/EUR/NAM markets - Familiarity with derivatives settlement and trade affirmation process - Understanding of trade order processing basics Shift Timings: 06:30 to 15:30 IST (09:00 am to 18:00 PM SGT) Education: Bachelor's Degree/University degree or equivalent experience Please note that this job description provides a high-level overview of the role, and other job-related duties may be assigned as necessary.,
