1.1 Roles and Responsibilities 1. Lead Generation & Sales:- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, and online research. Generate leads and convert them into sales for IT products or services (e.g., software, hardware, IT consulting). Develop and present proposals to prospective clients. 2. Client Relationship Management Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients. Understand client needs and suggest suitable IT solutions or services. Ensure customer satisfaction and manage after-sales support. 3. Market & Competitor Analysis Conduct market research to identify new trends, customer needs, and opportunities. Monitor competitor offerings and develop strategies to gain market advantage. 4. Strategic Planning Develop business development strategies aligned with company goals. Collaborate with marketing, product, and technical teams to align efforts. Identify potential partnerships or alliances to expand market reach. 5. Proposal & Contract Management Prepare and negotiate contracts, pricing, and service agreements. Ensure proposals align with client requirements and company capabilities. 6. Reporting & Forecasting Maintain CRM systems with up-to-date lead and client data. Provide regular reports on sales activities, pipeline, and forecasts to senior management. 7. Collaboration with Technical Teams Coordinate with IT architects, developers, or engineers to design solutions tailored to client needs. Translate technical capabilities into business benefits for client presentations. 8. Brand Advocacy Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings.
