Job Title: webMethods Integration Architect/Designer Location: Pune/Hyderabad & Onsite (KSA) Experience: 10+ years Employment Type: Full-time About the Role We are seeking a seasoned webMethods Integration Architect/Designer with deep hands-on experience across the webMethods suite. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and developing robust, scalable, and secure integration solutions, while also playing a key role in architectural decisions and technical planning. What You'll Do Design and develop integration logic using the webMethods product suite. Implement end-to-end integration flows for enterprise applications, incorporating best practices and error-handling mechanisms. Develop and manage APIs using webMethods API Gateway, including policies for security, throttling, monitoring, and versioning. Create and publish APIs to the API Developer Portal with proper documentation and access control. Integrate with external systems via REST/SOAP APIs, file-based, or messaging protocols. Participate in all stages of the integration lifecycle including requirement analysis, development, testing, and deployment. Troubleshoot integration issues and ensure optimal performance and reliability. Collaborate with business and technical teams to align solution designs with business needs. What You Should Have Strong hands-on development experience across the webMethods suite. Proficiency in designing and implementing APIs using API Gateway, including: Security policies (OAuth2, API Key, JWT) Throttling & rate limiting Analytics & logging Experience with the API Developer Portal including publishing APIs, managing access, and documentation. Solid understanding of integration patterns: synchronous, asynchronous, pub-sub, and event-driven architectures. Proficient in XML, JSON, REST, SOAP, and related transformation/mapping. Familiarity with error handling, retry mechanisms, and logging best practices in integration flows. Good knowledge of SQL and interaction with relational databases. Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and basic CI/CD pipelines. Strong debugging and problem-solving skills in middleware environments.
