The Business Security Enablement (BSE) team is seeking a skilled individual to join as a Lead Security Engineer in support of the Transfer Solutions program at the Pune office in India. The primary focus of the BSE guild is to embed security into Mastercard's operations globally. In this role, reporting to the Business Security Officer, you will be a key technical security expert supporting the development and maintenance of secure programs, products, and practices. Your responsibilities will include providing guidance on secure application design, mentoring teams on secure development practices, and raising awareness about application security. You will actively participate in program initiatives, advise on security standards implementation, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to align security solutions with business needs. Key qualifications for this role include a degree in computer science/information security or equivalent work experience of 7-10 years in information security disciplines. Holding certifications such as CISSP or other recognized security certifications is desired. You should have advanced knowledge of security protocols, security architectures, and security designs, along with technical expertise in programming languages and web-based security architecture. Familiarity with cryptography, encryption methods, security tools, and processes is essential. Your role will involve maintaining project documentation, ensuring compliance with security policies and regulations, and providing feedback for continuous improvements. Strong communication skills are required to bridge the gap between business and technical teams. You must stay updated on security policies, industry best practices, and compliance requirements to effectively contribute to the security initiatives. Reporting to the Business Security Officer, you will serve as the Program Security Engineer, offering technical security expertise to support the development and maintenance of secure programs, products, and practices. Your role will involve being the subject matter expert in application security, providing both tactical mentorship and strategic consulting on fostering a security-centric culture, implementing secure development best practices, and raising awareness on application security. You will actively participate in the design and execution of program initiatives, integrating and migrating systems as needed. Your responsibilities will include advising the team on adhering to MA Standards & Security Engineering principles, collaborating to find scalable solutions aligned with business requirements within Mastercard's risk tolerance while communicating effectively with various stakeholders. Ensuring that project documentation is up to date, maintaining technical documents and business requirements, and staying informed on security policies and regulatory compliance standards such as ISO, PCI, GDPR, etc., will be crucial aspects of your role. Additionally, you will be expected to possess strong communication skills to effectively liaise between business and technical teams, review front-line metrics for compliance with controls, and provide feedback for improvements. As part of your corporate security responsibilities, you will be required to abide by Mastercard's security policies, maintain the confidentiality and integrity of accessed information, report any security breaches, and complete periodic security training sessions as per Mastercard's guidelines.,
