Secondary School Teacher

Job Summary:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to inspire and educate students in grades 8, 9, and 10. The ideal candidate will foster a love for literature, enhance language skills, and develop critical thinking abilities through engaging and innovative teaching practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Curriculum Delivery: Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging English lessons aligned with the school’s academic standards and curriculum.
• Literature & Language: Teach grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, writing, and literary analysis.
• Student Assessment: Evaluate and assess students’ progress through tests, assignments, and projects, providing constructive feedback for improvement.
• Classroom Management: Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student engagement and participation.
• Learning Innovation: Integrate modern teaching techniques, technology, and creative resources to enhance the learning experience.
• Student Support: Identify and address individual learning needs to ensure all students achieve their academic potential.
• Communication: Maintain regular communication with parents, guardians, and school administration regarding students' progress and development.
• Co-curricular Activities: Participate in school events, activities, and educational workshops.

Qualifications:

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in English Literature, Language, or a related field. B.Ed. is preferred.
• Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of teaching experience for grades 8, 9, and 10.
• Skills:
• Strong command of the English language (both spoken and written)
• Effective classroom management skills
• Creativity in teaching methodologies
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Familiarity with modern educational tools and technologies
