Secondary Grade Mathematics Teacher

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver engaging, concept-based math lessons aligned with the prescribed curriculum (CBSE/ICSE/State Board).
• Use age-appropriate teaching methods to build conceptual understanding in areas such as algebra, geometry, arithmetic, mensuration, and data handling.
• Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, and remedial support plans.
• Incorporate NEP 2020-aligned teaching strategies, focusing on inquiry-based and experiential learning.
• Provide constructive feedback and plan remedial classes for students needing additional support.
• Maintain discipline and a positive learning environment.
• Encourage student participation, curiosity, and peer collaboration.
• Ensure that school rules and behavioral expectations are upheld in and outside the classroom.
• Participate in staff meetings, subject department meetings, and school events.
• Coordinate with co-teachers and other subject teachers for integrated and interdisciplinary learning.
• Communicate regularly with parents through PTMs or official communication to discuss student progress.
• Maintain lesson records, student attendance, mark registers, and grade books.
• Assist in exam invigilation, question paper setting, and result preparation.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Educational Qualification: B.Sc./M.Sc. in Mathematics + B.Ed. (mandatory)
• Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of teaching mathematics at the middle or secondary level.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
