To date, the INOPC team has successfully executed engineering and commissioning projects in over 80 countries. As a Control and Protection Engineer at Hitachi Energy, you will play a crucial role in designing control and protection solutions for EHV/HV/MV switchgears (GIS and AIS). Your responsibilities will include preparing CT and VT sizing calculations, developing electrical interlock logics for switchgears at both bay and substation levels, proposing and reviewing protection and control schemes for various power system configurations, and creating interface drawings for substation equipment such as power transformers, GIS, and Telecom systems. Additionally, you will be expected to select protection, control, and communication devices, prepare base design documents, develop requirement specifications for AC/DC systems, and handle tasks such as MCB selection, AC/DC board sizing, battery and aux transformer sizing calculations, control cable scheduling, and LV power cable sizing calculations. Furthermore, you will be accountable for ensuring compliance with relevant external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines while embodying Hitachi Energy's core values of safety and integrity, which emphasize personal accountability, care for colleagues, and commitment to the business. To qualify for this role, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering with a specialization in power systems or an equivalent field. You must have hands-on experience with E3 or Eplan tools for a minimum of 2 years in HV/MV switchgear engineering. Additionally, a minimum of 3 years of experience in EVHV/HV Protection & Control engineering, Control and Protection Panels, AC/DC systems, etc., is required. Knowledge of EHV and HV equipment (AIS and GIS) will be beneficial in performing your duties effectively.
