Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain low- and medium-pressure boilers to ensure continuous steam generation.
  • Monitor and control boiler operations, including pressure, temperature, fuel supply, and water levels.
  • Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and cleaning of boiler components.
  • Identify and troubleshoot minor boiler issues, reporting major problems to the maintenance team.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, operational guidelines, and environmental standards.
  • Assist in boiler start-ups, shutdowns, and emergency response procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records of boiler operations, fuel consumption, and maintenance activities.
  • Conduct water quality tests and adjust chemical treatments as needed.
  • Work closely with senior boiler operators, engineers, and maintenance teams to optimize efficiency.
  • Follow workplace safety procedures and use appropriate protective equipment.

Key Requirements:

  • Second Class Boiler Operator Certification (Mandatory).
  • 2 to 3 years of experience in boiler operation within a power plant or industrial facility.
  • Strong understanding of boiler systems, steam generation, and combustion processes.
  • Basic knowledge of water treatment, fuel handling, and boiler maintenance procedures.
  • Ability to work in shifts, including weekends and emergency call-outs.
  • Experience in thermal power plants, manufacturing, or process industries Top of Form. Bottom of Form Job Responsibilities:

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
