The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in managing technical resources to successfully deliver technology lifecycle projects. It is essential to possess relevant information security experience, particularly in the context of a global exchange or a global financial firm. However, experience in other IT operational roles will also be considered. A strong foundation and practical experience in cloud technologies are required, along with a solid understanding of cloud security architecture, design, and operations. The candidate should also have hands-on experience with Sec DevOps principles, Security Automation, and Orchestration. Candidates must demonstrate expertise in industry best practices related to the design, implementation, operation, and management of IT systems. This includes familiarity with methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, ITIL, and COBIT. Additionally, experience with information security standards like CISSP and CCSP is crucial. Effective communication skills are a must for this role, as the candidate will be expected to interact with senior management and a diverse range of technical and non-technical stakeholders. The ability to articulate complex information security concepts clearly and concisely is essential. Moreover, strong written communication skills are required, including the capability to draft board-level papers and deliver verbal presentations to senior management. A relevant university degree in Computer Science, Information Management, or a related field is preferred. However, equivalent experience in the field will also be taken into consideration.
