Seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to drive sales for a growing digital agency. Must be confident in B2B sales, client pitching, and lead generation. Hybrid role based in Gurgaon with strong incentives for performance.
Role & responsibilities Lead Generation: Identify potential leads through online platforms, business directories, referrals, networking events, and field visits. Client Outreach & Relationship Building: Initiate contact with prospective clients, understand their business needs, and position our digital and e-commerce solutions effectively. Sales Pitch & Proposal Creation: Present tailored pitches and proposals for brand building, digital marketing, e-commerce growth, and other agency services. Closing Deals & Revenue Generation: Drive sales closures by negotiating commercial terms, resolving objections, and building long-term client trust. Meet or exceed monthly/quarterly revenue targets. Hybrid Sales Execution: Manage both online (Zoom, email, social media) and offline (in-person meetings, events, etc.) sales strategies effectively. Collaboration with Internal Teams: Coordinate with project managers, brand strategists, and creative teams to ensure seamless onboarding and service delivery for new clients. CRM & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of prospects, pipeline, and follow-ups. Provide regular updates to the management team on sales progress. Market Research & Feedback Loop: Monitor industry trends, competitor offerings, and client feedback to continuously improve sales strategy and offerings. Event Representation (Optional): Represent the company at exhibitions, business events, and networking meetups when required. Preferred candidate profile Experience: 2-3 years in business development or sales, preferably in digital marketing, advertising, creative agency, SaaS, or e-commerce solutions. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication. Ability to pitch services confidently, handle objections, and close deals both online and offline. Understanding of Digital Space: Familiarity with digital marketing terms like performance marketing, SEO, D2C, brand building, etc., is highly preferred. Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using CRM tools, Google Workspace, LinkedIn, and other online lead-gen or outreach platforms. Personality Traits: Self-starter with a go-getter attitude, persuasive, solution-oriented, presentable, and highly dependable. Adaptability: Open to hybrid working (field visits + remote), flexible with timings when needed, and eager to grow with a fast-moving, young agency environment. Education: Graduate or post-graduate in Marketing, Business, Mass Comm, or a related field. However, strong sales performers from any background are welcome.
