Search Specialist

As a Search Engineer at our organization, you will be responsible for building and optimizing scalable search systems, enhancing search relevance, and integrating advanced AI/ML techniques into search solutions. Your expertise in search technologies, Python, and cloud platforms will be crucial for driving impactful solutions in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: - Hands-on experience with Apache Solr and/or OpenSearch, including schema design, indexing pipelines, query parsing, clustering, and replication. - Proficiency in .NET (C#) development, with at least 3 years of professional experience, including knowledge of asynchronous patterns and dependency-injection frameworks. - Deployment of workloads on AWS using services like ECS, EKS, Lambda, S3, IAM, CloudFormation, or CDK. - Strong understanding of search relevance concepts such as tokenization, stemming, analyzers, boosting, and query-time vs index-time strategies. - Expertise in CI/CD and automated testing for unit, integration, and performance. Qualifications Required: - 5+ years of hands-on experience with Apache Solr and/or OpenSearch. - At least 3 years of professional .NET (C#) development experience. - Proven track record of deploying workloads on AWS. - Solid understanding of search relevance concepts. - Proficiency in CI/CD and automated testing.
